Nancy Kil, D.D.S.
Dr. Nancy Kil did her undergraduate studies at Georgia Tech, where
she received her bachelor’s degree in chemistry in 1996. She
completed her doctorate of dental surgery degree at Case Western
Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. Dr. Nancy then went on to
Detroit, MI and completed her residency in pediatric dentistry at
Children’s Hospital of Michigan, recognized as one of the top
children’s hospitals in the United States. During her residency, she
researched the effects of sedation on children with asthma, which
was later published in the pediatric dental journal. Currently, she
is working on completing her master’s degree in community medicine
from Wayne State University School of Medicine.
Dr. Nancy is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric
Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental
Association and the Northern District Dental Society.
In her spare time, Dr. Nancy enjoys all things sports-related
(watching, not playing!), decorating her new home, playing the
piano, fishing, spending time with family and friends and playing
with her 2 year old Maltese, Irmi.
Demetris E. Rush, D.D.S.
Dr. Demetris Rush is a native of North Carolina. She attended Wake
Forest University where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in
Biology. She was rewarded the Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from
Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry in Nashville, TN. From
there, she moved to Detroit, MI, where she received her specialty
degree in pediatric dentistry at Children’s Hospital of Michigan.
She is currently working on a master’s degree in community medicine
from Wayne State University School of Medicine.
Dr.
Rush is very involved in organized dentistry. She is a member of the
American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental
Association, the Georgia Dental Association, the Northern District
Dental Society, the North Georgia Dental Society and the Greater
Atlanta Dental Collaborative.
In her
spare time, Dr. Rush enjoys playing with her dog, Colby, and working
out. She loves music, including playing the piano. She is also an
avid reader and is a member of a local book club. However, one of
Dr. Rush’s greatest assets is that she loves children.
Jyoti
Sharma, D.M.D.
Dr.
Jyoti Sharma attended Boston University and received her dental
degree in 2003. As a
dental student, Dr. Sharma was active with the American Student
Dental Association and participated in many community outreach
programs. After dental
school, she continued her dental training at a General Practice
Residency in Bronx, New York.
Dr. Sharma continued her love of working with children by
working at a children-focused dental practice in the Atlanta area
for 2 years. From there, she proceeded to the pediatric dental
residency program at Boston University. This training encompassed
growth and development, child philosophy, behavior management,
sedations, hospital dentistry, treatment of traumatic injuries,
treating children with special needs, and other specialized areas
unique to younger children and adolescents.
Dr. Sharma is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric
Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental
Association and the Northern District Dental Society.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Sharma has many interests including her
love for traveling to new and exciting places.
She enjoys spending time with her family (her husband and two
girls!).
